Исследование охватило 42 случайно выбранных товара из всех категорий на платформе.
«Из полученных данных следует, что средняя процентная разница между ценой самого дорогого товара и самого дешёвого составляет 62%», — сообщила ассоциация, назвав эту цифру «очень высокой для основных потребительских товаров».
В шести из 42 исследованных товаров разница в цене между самым дешёвым и самым дорогим вариантом превысила 100%.
«На основании этих данных нельзя утверждать, что существует жёсткая конкуренция, по крайней мере, среди включённых в исследование товаров», — добавила ассоциация.
Результаты по свежему пастеризованному молоку показали заметный контраст: средняя разница в цене по супермаркетам страны составила всего 18%, а среди трёх крупнейших сетей разница оказалась «нулевой».
Ассоциация подчеркнула, что жёсткая конкуренция была обнаружена «только в небольшом числе супермаркетов» на товары, перечисленные на платформе, в то время как подавляющее большинство не продемонстрировало такой конкурентной динамики.
Все выводы были сделаны исключительно на основе цен, опубликованных на e-kalathi, подчеркнула ассоциация, добавив, что продолжит отслеживать динамику цен и «прозрачно публиковать свои выводы» по результатам текущих оценок.
E-kalathi была представлена как инструмент, помогающий потребителям сравнивать цены на продукты питания в супермаркетах с целью стимулирования конкуренции и снижения нагрузки на расходы потребителей.

The association processed and evaluated prices recorded on Monday, benchmarking them against data from July 2025.
Its survey covered 42 randomly selected products drawn from all categories on the platform.
“From the recording, the average percentage difference of the most expensive product price compared to the cheapest is 62 per cent,” the association said, describing the figure as “very high for basic consumer products.”
In six of the 42 products surveyed, the price gap between the cheapest and most expensive option exceeded 100 per cent.
“With these data, one cannot claim that there is fierce competition, at least in the products included,” it added.
The findings on fresh pasteurised milk offered a notable contrast with the average price difference across supermarkets nationwide stood at just 18 per cent, while among the three largest chains the difference was “zero.”
The association stressed that fierce competition was found “only in a small number of supermarkets” on common products listed on the platform, while the vast majority showed no such competitive dynamic.
All conclusions were drawn exclusively from prices published on e-kalathi, the association emphasised, adding that it would continue to monitor price movements and “transparently publish its conclusions” from ongoing evaluations.
E-kalathi was introduced as a tool to help consumers compare grocery prices across supermarkets, with the stated aim of encouraging competition and easing cost-of-living pressures.

Заметное повышение цен на товары, размещённые на государственной онлайн-платформе сравнения цен e-kalathi, произошло с момента последней фиксации данных, предупредила Ассоциация потребителей в понедельник. Также было обнаружено ограниченное конкурентное давление в большинстве участвующих супермаркетов.
Ассоциация обработала и оценила цены, зафиксированные в понедельник, сравнив их с данными за июль 2025 года.
Исследование охватило 42 случайно выбранных товара из всех категорий на платформе.
«Из полученных данных следует, что средняя процентная разница между ценой самого дорогого товара и самого дешёвого составляет 62%», — сообщила ассоциация, назвав эту цифру «очень высокой для основных потребительских товаров».
В шести из 42 исследованных товаров разница в цене между самым дешёвым и самым дорогим вариантом превысила 100%.
«На основании этих данных нельзя утверждать, что существует жёсткая конкуренция, по крайней мере, среди включённых в исследование товаров», — добавила ассоциация.
Результаты по свежему пастеризованному молоку показали заметный контраст: средняя разница в цене по супермаркетам страны составила всего 18%, а среди трёх крупнейших сетей разница оказалась «нулевой».
Ассоциация подчеркнула, что жёсткая конкуренция была обнаружена «только в небольшом числе супермаркетов» на товары, перечисленные на платформе, в то время как подавляющее большинство не продемонстрировало такой конкурентной динамики.
Все выводы были сделаны исключительно на основе цен, опубликованных на e-kalathi, подчеркнула ассоциация, добавив, что продолжит отслеживать динамику цен и «прозрачно публиковать свои выводы» по результатам текущих оценок.
E-kalathi была представлена как инструмент, помогающий потребителям сравнивать цены на продукты питания в супермаркетах с целью стимулирования конкуренции и снижения нагрузки на расходы потребителей.
